I am getting married at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort in Panama.

I’m getting married at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort in Panama, next year, around the end of summer. The summer in Panama starts in January and last until the end of April (I think…) Panamá doesn’t have “summer” we just call it the dry season. Panama has a rainy season and a dry season.
Last April Boyfriend proposed to me while we were in Paris, for holidays.
I haven’t really started the planning. I think I should start planning for real at the beginning of next year. Some people say, if you start too early, the coordinator might forget some details at the end… The only thing I have done at the moment it’s the reservation at the hotel. Can you believe, the hotel has every single Saturday from January 2011 until April 2011 already reserved? I almost lost the day I wanted!
We are not getting married at the Church. We are doing it in the middle of the beautiful Panamanian jungle. The Gamboa Rainforest Resort is located near the Panama Canal and in the middle of the Rainforest, close to the Chagres River.
The wedding will be small, only 50 guess, mainly family and close friends. The ceremony will be outside under a big tree, and some mountains in the background. The reservation will be in a salon or beside the swimming pool; we need to decide on that.
The event coordinator at the hotel is very nice and helpful. We only communicate by email but she replies very fast.
While I was in Panama, I bought the wedding dress, which cost me lest than $ 500. We have a budget and we hope to stay in budget… We will be one of the few couples who stay in budget!!
The wedding will be in Panama because it is too expensive to travel to England, and my parents don’t have the money. They are saving money to come to my graduation though; they don’t want to miss that moment. I hope they manage to come to England, at least one time while I’m living here.
