Last week I got my result from last semester and for my surprise I did pretty well. It is not like I didn’t know I was going to do well, I was not expecting As, especially because I knew I was getting at least 70% in one of my courses, however here in the UK that is 70% is A!

I remember being upset the first time I got a paper back last semester, because I thought I had fail! After all the work I did I had fail the assignment. The next day one of my teammates (that assignment was for my group project) said “we got an o.k grade on the assignment” I didn’t answer…

I think Universities should advise their international student about this.

Because of last year snow, one of my courses doesn’t show the final grade, it does say it’s waiting for the exam, which I did last Saturday.

The grading here in the UK goes lower than in the USA, it is something like this:

70+         A
65-69     B+/ A-
60-64     B
55-59     C+
50-54     C

Boyfriend said the grading is lower because getting a degree in the UK is more difficult than in the USA… I don’t know about that though.
