Student loans for Panamanians

IFHARU is the institution where Panamanians can request a student loan. It is not a bank in the regular meaning of the word. This institution only gives student loans and scholarship.

On Friday 14, I said good-bye to Boyfriend. It was a very emotional day for both of us, even though we knew this day was coming.

Last year Boyfriend moved to Oxford, UK because a great job offer was awaiting for him. Before he left we made planes for me to join him for a few month in the UK at the beginning of this year. Traveling to Panama

I am going back to Panama, after almost three month living in the UK as a tourist. Now I am writing this entry, while waiting for the aeroplane that will take me to Panama City, Panama. It is five in the morning but my body thinks is eleven in the morning. I am experiencing the famous jet-lag… My eyes look red and I am feeling so tired and confuse with time.

Biking for the first time in Oxford

Two weeks ago, I bought a used bike for only 45 pounds. It is a girly bike (it is not pink though) with six gears and the frame is big enough for my height. I am 5’10.

The town looks different from a bike perspective and I think many people would agree with me. It is not the same to look at the town through the bus window than to do it while cycling. Even if you take the same road the bus takes to get to town. For instance, you would never know there is a hill at the beginning of Morrell Avenue (coming from town and taking bus #15) unless you bike, because when you are inside the bus, the hill is not big enough for the passenger to notice it.
