Today I’m feeling some extreme tiredness.

I’m on my second day on antidepressant to treat my depression, a new side effect have appear. While doing some laundry I started to feel very tired, I even had to lied down and yesterday, when I was shopping with my sister. I had to sit down almost every 10 min… I had to take my pill one hour late yesterday, because I was not in my house and for not taking it at the same time I started to feel nausea and dizziness.

I GUESS I’m going to have some withdraw problems, with paxil…

I’ve been on antidepressant twice… the side effect have been horrible. The second time, I have to stop due to the side effect . Lexapro was the first antidepressant I tried, then my doctor changed me to Celexa, which made me feel so bad! I looked like a zombie. Ohh I remember that day. It was a Monday, I went to see Dr. Barden and we talked about the side effect I was getting with Lexapro. He was really surprised, I was his first patience, who had side effect with Lexapro ( I’m always trying to be different  you know lol ) ”Lexapro is suppose to be the antidepressant with less side effect”, he said… anyways… He prescribe me Celexa, but he warned me ”Celexa has more side effect than Lexapro…” and he gave me a list of the possibles side effects.
Later that day I went to Walgreen’s and I bought the pills. After taking the first one I started to feel sleepy so, I went to bed (big mistake). I woke up two hours later, with an anxiety attach (the first one in my entire life!! ) my heart was beating so hard I thought it was going to explode. I was feeling so queasy, I was barely able to walk. I felt like running and throwing myself out through the window, I felt with so much energy. Took me 2 hours to go back to sleep.

The following days my eyes were so red I looked like I was ”high”, all my body felt sore and the panics attach continued through the day…. In short worlds, I WAS FEELING LIKE CRAP!. I wasn’t getting any better… the nurses from the school called my doctor and he told me to stop taking the pills (Celexa).

I kept going to counseling (I started counseling before starting antidepressants), and by the end of that semester we find out what was wrong with me. My life change after that experience with those antidepressant. I began to trust my counselor and I started to REALLY TALK.

That was my experience with Lexapro and Celexa… the first few days

Yesterday night, I started taking antidepressant even though I’m not a big fan of those kind of drugs… I’m taking them just because, I’m tired of fighting alone…
Until now, I’m not having  any side effect. I’m pretty happy about that . I was scared of those side effect they show in the back of the box. I’ve been on antidepressants before and the side effect can get pretty nasty…

I’m taking 10mg per day, my psychiatrist will increase the dose to 20 mg in about 2 weeks. I’m using them to fight my depression problems

I was talking with my sister a few days ago, I was explaining to her, why I think Dr House is kind of, the combination of CSI and Scrubs.
let’s analyze the show…

1. they [House and His team] try to find out, what illness is causing the problems, just like in CSI when they try to find out who is the author of the crime , they look for all the evidence; in Dr. House the symptoms.
2. we have the ”Dr. House and Cameron situation”… just like ”Grissom and Sara”. well, I know it’s not the same. but, Dr. house is older than Cameron, Gil is older than Sara. Dr House is kind of a loner, Gil is kind of a loner too (in his own way )do you get the idea?
3. Dr House is like Dr. Cox from Scrubs (even the writers from Scrubs noticed that, because there is an episode where Dr. Cox is like Dr. House… ”My House” is the name of that episode I encourage you to watch it!)
4. Dr. House and Scrubs, both are about hospitals…. ha ha ha. obviously!
5. Dr House and CSI are dramas
6. and both are one hour show
