At the moment I’m taking 5 mg every two days, and next Sunday is the final day; I’m suppose to stop taking Paxil next Sunday.
After 3 month I’m finally at the end of this journey, and I must say, it was not easy. There were times I wanted to go back to the beginning due to the side effects. But the support of my boyfriend have been a great help. I manage to stick to the plan and I kept lowering the dose and now, I’m just one week away from being free!
during the last month I had very few side effect, which was surprising., the only side effects I had was: weakness, dry mouth, and some anxiety attacks. But the funny thing is , I started to feel those side effects two weeks ago… weird… anyways, I know I might feel those side effect weeks after finishing taking Paxil, but that is completely normal.
After trying so many times, I hope, this week is the last week on Paxil

I’m taking at the moment 5 mg every day. Until now the only side effect I’m having is dizziness and anxiety attacks, yesterday I had one; but it was not as bad as the first one I had at work on Wednesday.
For the dizziness I’m taking some pills that are for common dizziness and nausea, (I’m also having some nausea). and they help with the dizziness.

Yesterday I started taking only 5mg each day.
The first side effect I felt was an anxiety attack while I was at work! it was a very rare feeling, I felt like something was going to happened, I felt nervous for none reason, my heart was pitting very fast and I couldn’t stay still.
During my lunch it got worse because I was not able to eat. I tried to eat something, but then I felt something on my stomach (the feeling you get before you’re going to vomited) and I decided to stop eating… I was not really hungry after all. But I needed to do something about the anxiety so I thought about going to the pharmacy and ask for a pill for the anxiety (I actually have a prescription my doctor gave me in case I got some side effect like anxiety or insomnia), the pharmacy is a little bit far from my working place, so I had to walk for a while.
