On my first visit to London, one of the top attractions I wanted to visit was the Madame Tussauds Museum or Wax Museum. I did not have the time to visit that museum when I went to New York on 2007, only 4-day in NYC and too many places to visit. Back to London now, the museum is on Marylebone Road by getting on the Baker Street line you will be there
. I strongly recommend buying tickets on-line unless you love queues and waiting for almost one hour to buy your ticket, it is an excitement for you. A ticket bought on-line has priority access and a 10 % discount
.
If you are traveling by train, perhaps the promotion two for one it is your way to go. We travel to London by train from Oxford and we save almost 35 pounds! On Tube stations, Madame Tussauds and The London Movie Museum.
Inside the museum you will see wax figures that look very similar to the real character, you will have the opportunity to be as close as you want to the figure and take a picture. There are also photographers for Michael Jackson, The Queen and President Obama with Michelle Obama, who will take a pictures for you and if you like the photo, you can buy it. I have to admit the wax figures look very real on the pictures taken by the photographer from the museum (they better do!! You pay 9 pound for the picture!!). I have one taken with The Queen
Have a look at this museum, you will have no regret (just as Blair said…
